IPPFAR would like to engage the services of a Human Resources consulting/consultancy firm or individual consultancy to assist in the recruitment of 9 positions; which include;
- Head of Operations
- Head of External Relations, Advocacy and Communication
- Head of Strategy Performance and Organisational Development
- Lead Technical Advisor, Sexual Reproductive Health Rights (SRHR) Programme
- Senior Advisor, Restricted Funding Projects Delivery
- Lead Technical Advisor, Business Development
- Regional Liaison Advisor
- Senior Advisor, Finance & Budgetary Control
- Senior Officer, Finance
IPPF, AR will advertise all the positions through various online websites and at own costs where applicable and will forward all the CVs received to the selected recruited consulting/consultancy firm or individual consultancy.
The selected consulting/consultancy firm or individual consultancy will review all the CVs received.
Scope of the Assignment
The main objective of the assignment is to support the recruitment of 9 positions, including 3 Senior Management positions in the most transparent, cost-effective and efficient method.
Responsibility and Tasks
As part of the assignment, the consulting/consultancy firm or individual consultancy will carry out the following;
- Hold discussions with the IPPF AR Regional Director to determine the requirements for the positions
- Hold discussions with the HR unit to understand the standard requirements for suitable candidates
- Lead head hunting of potential candidates where applicable and candidate’s engagement process
- Approach potentially suitable candidates to determine whether they may be interested in the position
- Receive CVs, prepare a long list of candidates and submit it to the Regional Director and HR
- Provide analysis for all CVs received according to positions competencies required
- Screen application received against the relevant jobs’ description for the positions
- Conduct an in-depth primary interview of potential candidates
- Prepare a shortlist following the interviewing of potential candidates
- Prepare list identifying the candidates identified with skillset and ability for the position
- Support the preparation of tests when necessary
- Organize psychometrics assessments when necessary
- Prepare interviews: contact with applicants, agenda of interview, follow up with candidates
- Attend interviews and prepare interview reports
- Attend discussion with recruitment panel to decide on candidates for final interviews
- Prepare final interview process: contact applicants, agenda, follow up with candidates
- Attend final interviews
- Prepare reports of final interviews
- Provide weekly reports and attend check-ins each week with your HR or regional director to review the advancement of work and ensure timely deliverables on set targets
- Recommend improvements in order to deliver a better candidate and recruiter experience
- Build relationships through timely and specific communication to ensure a timely recruitment process
- • Conduct reference checks based on information provided by the recommended candidates.
Reporting
The consulting/consultancy firm or individual consultancy will provide a report to the Regional Director by providing regular progress updates;
- The first week update on the commencement of the assignment
- Regular reports as mentioned above
- A detailed report will be presented to the Regional Director at the end of the selection process, including a detailed evaluation report of each candidate for each position and recommendations;
- This report will be presented to the Regional Director on an agreed date at the beginning of the process.
Time Frame
It is expected that this assignment will take a maximum of eight (8) weeks from the commencement.
Supervision and Guidance
The consulting/consultancy firm or individual consultancy will be expected to be self-motivated and able to work independently. Supervision and support will be provided by the Regional Director and the Human Resources Unit. The consultation will be done remotely.
Expertise Required
The consulting/consultancy firm or individual consultancy to be selected should have extensive experience in recruitments with the ability to attract candidates globally and placements at Senior Management Level.
The consulting or consultancy firm should have a proven track record of working with International Organisations and a minimum of 10 years’ experience in Human Resources.
