IPPF Africa Regional Office seeks an Advocacy Officer to support the management and implementation of a new EU-funded advocacy project. The project’s aim is to contribute to securing, realizing and extending women's rights enshrined in African Union policies in Sub-Saharan African countries.
The Advocacy Officer reports to the Advocacy Advisor and is expected to strengthen the advocacy and communication capacity of CSOs, journalists and parliamentarians, coordinate their work plans and contribute to IPPF AR’s advocacy towards regional decision makers in Africa. In addition, the position supports in project management (planning, monitoring and evaluation, finances, reporting). See attachment below for more details.
