Africa's Health Champions: IPPF Regions' Achievements in 2023

IPPF Africa Region has released its 2023 achievements video highlighting impactful work across the continent this past year. The 2-minute video gives a snapshot of IPPF's support for expanding access to family planning, advancing sexual and reproductive health rights through advocacy, supporting gender, equality, providing comprehensive sexuality education for youth, increasing access to safe abortion care, and eliminating harmful practices.

Feminist Opportunities Now (FON)

      CALL FOR EXPRESSION OF INTEREST The International Planned Parenthood Federation for Africa Region (IPPFAR) is pleased to announce a call for Expressions of Interest for interested organizations to become involved in their Feminist Opportunities Now (FON) programme, and join the Regional Coordination and Advisory Committee (RCAC), the advisory body that will to ensure inclusive and participatory governance of FON’s grant-making mechanism for feminist organizations across Africa: Burkina Faso, Ethiopia, Guinea, the Ivory Coast, Kenya and potentially Niger.   Apply by 19 February 2023 More infos : https://bit.ly/3wJeV7o

IPPF High Level Mission to Guinea: video report

From 01 - 10 May 2022, a high-level mission from IPPF including Marie-Evelyne Petrus-Barry, Regional Director for Africa, and Manuelle Hurwitz, Global Programme Director, conducted a field visit to #Guinea Conakry. The visit provided an opportunity to meet and visit the facilities of IPPF's two local partners in Guinea: the Association Guinéenne pour le Bien-Etre Familial (AGBEF ) and the NGO Solidarité Suisse Guinée (SSG).
