The Women’s Integrated Sexual Health (WISH) Impact to Date

TheWomen’s Integrated Sexual Health (WISH) programme offers quality integrated and inclusive SRHR services to marginalized and hard to reach populations. This is the impact of the programme so far.

The Women’s Integrated Sexual Health (WISH) programme offers quality integrated and inclusive family planning and sexual and reproductive health services to marginalized and hard to reach populations: the poor, youth under 20, people living with a disability and those living in humanitarian settings.

WISH empowers women to make informed decisions about their sexual and reproductive health (SRH). By enabling young women to choose if and when to start being sexually active and to choose to prevent pregnancies through contraception, WISH ensures that they stay in school longer and gain the necessary skills to live a healthy and productive life.

WISH activities translate into impact on women and girls' lives, contributing to breaking bias, and increasing access to services for young, poor and women with disability and those living in humanitarian settings.
