An external candidate, Diana Abou Abbas has been Executive Director of Marsa Sexual Health Center in Beirut, Lebanon since 2016. She is an Associate in Applied Sciences with an emphasis on Communication Arts from the Lebanese American University. Diana is Co-Chair for MENA, a working group member and Youth Representative for NGO CSW; a Board Member of the Lebanese AIDS Network of Associations; an Advisory Board Member for Helem and for Knowledge Is Power; and a Member of Meem and of Nasawiya. Amongst the skills required for the RATC, Diana can point to resource allocation experience; a strong understanding of SRHR and related fields; and an understanding of development assistance funding models for NGOs. She is from the Middle East, currently located in Lebanon. Diana identifies as part of an under-served community.
