BACKGROUND
IPPF Africa Regional Office has received funding to implement a multi-country project to strengthen delivery of Sexual and Reproductive Health (SRH) services in 11 of its Member Associations (MAs) in Africa. The 24-month project is expected to enhance the capacity of the MAs in delivery of high quality SRH services, resource mobilization for SRH, advocacy and data management systems for SRHR.
JOB PURPOSE
To ensure IPPF’s efficient and effective management of a multi-country project to strengthen delivery and advocacy for SRH services. This shall include supporting the IPPF Member Associations (MAs) in the following: • Strengthen their programme and management systems to ensure sustainability of their SRH service delivery and advocacy initiatives
• Strengthen the MA capacity to provide and enable a full range of integrated SRH services and information, especially to poor, socially-excluded, and/or underserved people, especially women, girls and youth
• Strengthen the MA capacity to design and implement quality of care strategies
• Strengthen the MA capacity in setting up and implementing a clinic management information system that ensures the MAs can utilize data for decision making and programming (in collaboration with the Strategy, Performance and Organization Development team)
• Strengthen the MA capacity to create demand for SRH services
To be accountable for the achievements of the project expected results as provided for in the relevant restricted funding projects documents
To track and report on the implementation of the MA projects and ensure this is guided by the IPPF and donor policies and principles.
