The International Planned Parenthood Federation (IPPF) is the world’s largest non-governmental organization working in the field of sexual and reproductive health information and services. It has six Regional Offices worldwide. The Africa Regional Office is based in Nairobi, Kenya while the international secretariat is in London, UK.
IPPF Africa Regional Office (IPPF ARO) is seeking to recruit a qualified candidate for the position of Advocacy Specialist. The position will be based in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia.
The Advocacy Specialist is responsible for the promotion, protection and capacity-building of sexual and reproductive health and rights (SRHR) within the 42 countries covered by the IPPF Africa Region Office. This work entails collaboration with a range of internal and external colleagues and partners. He/She is also responsible for supporting resource mobilization efforts both at the national and regional level.
