Deadline

The International Planned Parenthood Federation (IPPF) is a global service provider and a leading advocate of sexual and reproductive health and rights (SRHR) for all. IPPF is a worldwide movement of national organisations working with and for communities and individuals. Empowering the most vulnerable women, men and young people in over 160 countries to access life-saving services and programmes and to live with dignity. IPPF and its 30,000 staff, along with millions of volunteers, campaign for SRHR and deliver education and services through over 50,000 service delivery points.

The Secretariat is accountable for supporting Member Associations (MAs) in income generation. MAs have expressed a strong desire for this support and currently, many unrestricted grant-receiving MAs struggle to position themselves strategically with donors, write competitive bids, manage the complexities of restricted programmes and compliance without support. Considering that successful income generation requires a set of highly-specialized skills, it is not feasible or cost-efficient for these MAs to resource these skill sets in-house.

The great diversity of MAs and country contexts across the Federation means MAs will require different levels of support for growing their local income. As a result, the Secretariat is starting a MA segmentation exercise to assess the needs and priorities of MAs and target income generation support where there is likely to be a strong return on investment. At the regional level, IPPF Africa Region Office (IPPF ARO) is responsible for carrying this segmentation exercise for its 33 MAs.

For this purpose, we are looking for an individual to fill the position of Resources Mobilization MA Segmentation Consultant. More details about this position can be found in the TORs attached (below). The “MA segmentation process” guidelines are also attached for your reference.

Interested applicants shall send their CVs to Gallianne Palayret at [email protected]
