The International Planned Parenthood Federation Africa Region (IPPFAR) is one of the leading sexual and reproductive health and rights (SRHR) service delivery organizations in Africa, and a leading sexual and reproductive health and rights advocacy voice in the region through its 40 Member Associations and Collaborative Partners in 40 Sub-Saharan countries.
In 2022, IPPF received a funding from the French Development Agency (AFD) to implement the “Feminist Opportunity Now” project. With a total budget of €14 million over 4 years, this project will strengthen feminist movements in 10 countries (Columbia, Mexico in Latin America; Burkina Faso, Ethiopia, Cote d’Ivoire, Guinea, Kenya and Mali in Africa; and Bangladesh and Sri Lanka in Asia). Its objective is to build the capacity of women's movements, via sub-grants to feminist organisations, with a particular effort to reaching small, often non-registered, organisations to address and respond to gender-based violence locally.
IPPF identified the need for stronger and more strategic communications to support these goals and to ensure the project’s key messages reach its various audiences effectively. This includes strengthening the FON visual identity and brand to have a unified coherent look, feel and tone. As several communication products are in the pipeline, IPPFAR is seeking a graphic designer or design firm on a short-term contract basis to create a visual identity, development of brand style guidelines to ensure consistency across all of its outwards facing communication materials. These include the creation of a new FON logo, and FON branded working templates that can be used when communicating about the project.
