With reproductive rights under attack in many countries, rights-based family planning is more important than ever to serve the needs of diverse communities across the globe. This Lancet commentary, co-authored by Mallah Tabot and Professor Cicely Marston calls for person-centered family planning that includes abortion rights as well as freely chosen contraception, a greater emphasis on community participation, and more evidence on what works.
