IPPF is a locally owned, globally connected civil society movement.
We work to ensure people are free to make choices about their sexuality and wellbeing, in a world without discrimination.
Building on a proud history of over 65 years of achievement, we commit to lead a locally owned, globally connected civil society movement that provides and enables services and champions sexual and reproductive health and rights for all, especially the under-served.
In 2023, IPPF Member Associations (MAs) were still able to deliver a total of 222.4 million sexual and reproductive health services during 2023. We served 71.2 million clients. Pretty impressive in such a challenging year in which we embarked on our new strategy.
IPPF works in 142 countries to provide help, advice, services and supplies relating to any aspect of sexual and reproductive health. These services are delivered through an IPPF Member Association (MA).
MAs are IPPF accredited organizations within country. In Africa the Regional Office, we count 33 locally-owned Member Associations and 6 collaborative partners in 39 countries in sub-Saharan Africa.
