How Social Media Went from Empowering Movements to Crushing Them

On 15th November 2022, the world’s population hit 8 billion, representing both increased challenges and opportunities associated with population growth. Eight months later, as we mark World Population Day and re- focus on promoting awareness on population issues, it provides us with an opportunity to discuss and address issues such as access to healthcare, education, food security, environmental sustainability, and economic development.
