IPPF High Level Mission to Guinea: video report
From 01 - 10 May 2022, a high-level mission from IPPF including Marie-Evelyne Petrus-Barry, Regional Director for Africa, and Manuelle Hurwitz, Global Programme Director, conducted a field visit to #Guinea Conakry. The visit provided an opportunity to meet and visit the facilities of IPPF's two local partners in Guinea: the Association Guinéenne pour le Bien-Etre Familial (AGBEF ) and the NGO Solidarité Suisse Guinée (SSG).

IPPFAR 2021 Achievements Video - English
In 2021, IPPF Africa Region Member Associations provided 109,796,584 sexual reproductive health and rights services, representing close to half of the total number of SRHR services delivered by IPPF that year. IPPFAR further provided 1,946,485 services that addressed and responded to cases of sexual and gender-based violence in the sub-Saharan region. Watch our latest achievements in this video.

IPPF 2021 Annual Performance Report
IPPF has always done the utmost to advance sexual and reproductive health and rights for all. In 2021, IPPF Member Associations (MAs) continued to demonstrate their resilience and adaptability to carry on serving people in spite of the severe disruption caused by the COVID-19 pandemic. A total of 231.4 million services were delivered, a six per cent increase on 2020. Despite comprising fewer MAs, IPPF recovered more than half the decrease caused the previous year by clinic closures and other restrictions. Couple years of protection (CYP) increased by eight percent to reach 29 million – higher than in any year prior to the pandemic.
